Why Choose This Sun Spot Removal Cream?
Long-term sun exposure often leads to visible signs of damage, such as discoloured patches, thickened skin, or precancerous lesions. Adding Curaderm BEC5® cream to your routine provides an effective, targeted solution that works externally while supporting your overall skincare and wellness plan.
What’s Inside?
Each 20g tube of Curaderm contains:
- Solasodine Glycosides (BEC) – the active ingredient that promotes selective removal of damaged skin cells
- Salicylic Acid and Urea – included at high concentrations to assist BEC penetration (these may cause temporary irritation)
What is Curaderm BEC5® Used For?
This advanced actinic keratosis cream is formulated to treat sun-damaged skin that may appear discoloured, scaly, or thickened due to prolonged UV exposure. It is not intended for use on moles or melanomas.
How to Use Curaderm
- Apply Curaderm cream only to external areas of the skin affected by lesions, discoloration, or keratoses.
- Use at least twice daily (up to ten times daily if instructed), always covering the area with microporous tape to maintain effectiveness.
- Continue until new, healthy skin has fully regrown.
A typical course lasts anywhere from 7 to 60 days, depending on severity and individual skin sensitivity.
Application Steps
- Cleanse with antiseptic solution, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
- Apply a thick layer of cream to the treatment site.
- Cover with microporous tape and wash hands afterward.
What to Expect after Use
Redness, tingling and swelling are common signs that BEC5® Curaderm cream is actively working on the affected areas. Over time, the damaged tissue breaks down before being naturally replaced by new, healthy skin.
Lesions may appear worse before improvement is visible – this is part of the skin regeneration process.
