As well as the Lung Bioregulator, which other supplements support lung health?

  • NMN (beta Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) – Supplementing with NMN helps to boost NAD+ levels; this is a critical molecule that powers cellular energy, activates longevity associated proteins called sirtuins, supports DNA repair and helps to maintain mitochondrial function. NMN also promotes antioxidant and anti-inflammatory functions.
  • ACF228™ Antioxidant Capsules – these can be taken alongside the Lung Bioregulator to support the respiratory system as general antioxidant support. NAC, the primary ingredient of ACF228™, tackles free radicals which can stress the lungs.
  • Blood Vessel Bioregulator – this can be taken alongside other bioregulators to support the blood vessels and overall respiratory system.

Is the Lung Bioregulator classed as non-invasive respiratory support?

Yes, as invasive respiratory support would include medical intervention techniques such as endotracheal intubation or tracheostomy to aid breathing. Taking a lung bioregulator does not fall into this category.

How does the respiratory system support energy metabolism?

The respiratory system is absolutely essential for energy production, as your cells create energy (ATP) through a process that requires oxygen. The respiratory system breathes in oxygen and transfers it from your lungs into your bloodstream, which then delivers it to every cell in your body.

Your cells use this oxygen to convert glucose and fats into usable energy, producing carbon dioxide as a waste product. The respiratory system removes this CO₂ by carrying it back to the lungs where you exhale it.

How does the circulatory system support the respiratory system?

The circulatory and respiratory systems work together as partners. Blood acts as the transport system – carrying oxygen from your lungs to body tissues and bringing carbon dioxide back to your lungs to be exhaled. In the pulmonary circulation, deoxygenated blood flows from your heart to your lungs, where oxygen diffuses into the blood and CO₂ diffuses out. This freshly oxygenated blood then returns to your heart and is pumped throughout your body. Without circulation, your lungs couldn’t deliver oxygen beyond themselves.

The circulatory system also maintains lung tissue health by supplying oxygen and nutrients to the airways and lung structures through bronchial arteries. Additionally, chemoreceptors in the blood vessels detect oxygen and CO₂ levels and signal your brain to adjust breathing rate accordingly. Neither system works well without the other – healthy lungs with poor circulation can’t deliver oxygen to tissues, while good circulation with damaged lungs can’t pick up oxygen.
