Please read enclosed product insert for instructions on opening tubes.

Directions

1 or 2 drops in each eye 1-4 times a day or as directed by a physician. Please read the enclosed product insert carefully. For the proper application of drops, lean head back and look up. Do not blink or reopen the eye for 60-seconds. Repeat this procedure, if a second drop is used. Closing the eye allows each drop to be absorbed into the eye tissue. Blinking, even one or two times, will pump most of the solution out of the eye. If you have neck problems, lie down or use a tilt-back chair.

Can Can-C™ be taken in conjunction with other common eye supplements such as lutein and zeaxanthin / astaxanthin?

It is not recommended to use Can-C™ eye-drops in combination with Lutein or Zeaxanthin as they compete for the same receptors as N-Acetylcarnosine which affects the efficacy.  We are not aware of any contraindications with Astaxanthin.

How long have Can-C™ eye-drops been on the market?

Can-C™ eye-drops have been sold since 2001.

Are Can-C™ eye-drops Vegan friendly?

There are no animal ingredients in Can-C™ eye drops, all are 100% plant based; therefore the product is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.

Can I use Can-C™ eye drops if I wear contact lenses?

Yes. The manufacturer states that in fact they can benefit contact lens wearing in 2 ways, firstly they inhibit the accumulation of lactic acid, thereby reducing the pain associated with contacts and secondly the lubricants in Can-C™ make wearing the contacts more comfortable.

One thing we would recommend is that contacts be removed as normal, the eye washed with cold water and gently dabbed dry and then apply the Can-C™ and wait 15 minutes (this gives the eye-drop time to pass through the membranes and enter the eye) before replacing the contact lens as normal. Note that although this is not an essential requirement, it may be beneficial to do so.

Can Can-C™ be damaged if it is frozen in transit?

There is no impact of frozen temperature on samples.

What standards are Can-C™ eye drops manufacturered to?

Can-C™ is made to pharmaceutical standards under cGMP and ISO9001 standards in an approved and licensed facility.

What's the difference between Can-C™ K9 eye-drops and regular original Can-C™ eye-drops

The packaging is the only difference. Both formulas are identical.
